Exactly eight months after our first night in Utrecht we return to ACU to bring you another Glaxclock Night!

Glaxclock Night #8 @ Unitas, Wageningen NL 18-10-2008

As pronounced earlier the Glaxclock collective is coming to Wageningen on the 18th of October!

Glaxclock Night #8 has no less than seven (yes 7!) live acts for you, split over two area's. Think old-school electro, noisabilly, progressive, fragile electronics and more.
 
Machinist & Industrial, Protocol Novikov and d i s t e l will be performing live in the café. In the main room there will be a lot of knob-twiddling by Analogic Sound Project, Mr. Botak, NME® and Grimm Limbo. We have three DJ's to keep it bumping and live visuals to hypnotize you.
 
The café will be turned into a dark theatre tonite as Machinist and Industrial Passage take the stage. The ambient drones of Zeno van den Broek (Machinist) and Ewell Juliana (Industrial Passage) create spaces; architecture in sound; images and have involuntary deeply tangible impact.
 
Protocol Novikov does glitchy kitsch like no other, it's minimal noisabilly, electronic chansons and other "other" disco hits.
 
d i s t e l's wrought angstpop is the sound of rust, inhibition, grudge and despair.
 
In the main room Analogic Sound Project is ready to attack with his armory of pulse-, saw- and beatmachines. Old-skool electro, baby, the fattest grooves around.
 
Mr. Botak is bald and mysterious. His dark danceable electro is as mysterious, smooth and exciting as he is.
 
When NME® allows his beats and bleeps to come out, there is no stopping your legs dancing to the sound of euphoria.
 
Grimm Limbo dreams up dark fairytales and translates them into music. His melodic rituals awaken your feet and take you far away.
 
DJ’s @mf (Aesthetics, Grey Area, Insula Avalonia), Erik Grey (Doornroosje, Stadtkind) en K2 (Glaxclock Guest, Arnhem, BenD, Equivalence) take care of everything else. They are your guides. Live visuals are created by Poor Pussy VJ’s and Lost Archetype.

Glaxclock Night #7 Line up

The line up for our 2nd anniversary birthday bash in Kultuurhuis Bosch is finalized!

We're gonna kick the jams, pump the bass and groove that ass with some low down 'lectro and enough sleaziness to make Rocco Siffredi squirm!

Here is the blurb (in Dutch):

Het Nijmeegse Glaxclock collectief bestaat 2 jaar deze zomer en daarom geven we een speciaal verjaardagsfeestje in Kultuurhuis Bosch.

Voor Glaxclock Night #7 hebben we een heerlijke mix van electro, acid, IDM en sleaziness voor je bij elkaar gezocht. In de Doos staan vanavond drie live acts achter de knoppen en in het Watertejater regeert het DJ Duo from Hell Nana et Le Di samen met DJ @mf de dansvloer.

Mike Fear (auxar, Nijmegen) zorgt voor de nodige funky beats en breaks met zijn eclectische electronische stijl. Na dampende sets op onder meer de Loveparade en Doornroosje zet hij vanavond de dansvloer in de Doos in vuur en vlam.

Analogic Sound Project met zijn wapentuig aan puls-, zaagtand- en beat-machines staat altijd garant voor een set rauwe old-skool elektro. Dikke grooves, freaky beats en een heleboel knoppen!

Elektrovolt uit low down dirty brown Den Haag serveert een flinke portie elektro grok met saus. Een stampende 808, melancholische synths en basslijnen zo funky als je teennagel.

DJ´s Erik Grey (Doornroosje, Stadtkind) en K2 (Glaxclock Guest, Arnhem, BenD, Equivalence) pompen de Doos vol, terwijl Nana et Le Di (DJ Duo from Hell, Skandal, Merleyn) en DJ @mf (Aesthetics, Grey Area, Insula Avalonia) zorgen voor sappige sleazy disco in het Watertejater. Poor Pussy VJ’s strelen je oogbollen met fijn beeldmateriaal.

Uit de donkerste krochten van de Nijmeegse underground komt Glaxclock, een collectief van muzikanten, dj's, vj's en kunstenaars. Samen brengen zij een veelvoud aan stijlen die samengebonden worden door een gedeeld gevoel en liefde voor electronica op het randje.

Voor hun Glaxclock Night #4 biedt ACU een sfeervol decor. Verwacht live sets met buitenaardse electronica, donkere opzwepende elektro, verwrongen angstpop en diepe melancholische minimal. Vanavond maken achtereenvolgens CausaliDox, Mr. Botak, d i s t e l  en Grimm Limbo hun opwachting.

Voor hun Glaxclock Night #3 biedt Kultuurhuis Bosch een sfeervol decor. Verwacht live sets met zware ambient, donkere opzwepende elektro, diepe melancholische minimal en buitenaardse electronica. In Het Watertejater staan Abandoned Asylum, NME33 en d i s t e l. In De Doos maken CausaliDox, Mr. Botak en Grimm Limbo hun opwachting.

De avond wordt ingeleid met de korte film "Hið Stóra í Hinu Smáa" van Sjoerd de Vos. De film geeft een impressie van het veelzijdige zuiden van IJsland en wordt begeleid door de breekbare muziek van d i s t e l.

Abandoned Asylum komt speciaal uit Polen naar Kultuurhuis Bosch om als Glaxclock Guest een sfeervolle ambient set neer te zetten in Het Watertejater. DJ's @mf en Erik Grey maken de avond af. Zij zorgen voor de juiste sfeer en energie gedurende de hele avond met spannende, diepe grooves en krakende beats. First Glaxclock Release by Grimm Limbo on Soundefine Records

Preparations are underway for the release of Glaxclock artist Grimm Limbo's first 12" on Soundefine Records. The tracklisting has been made final and the contract is in the works.

According to label owner Jellisimo other Glaxclock artists will soon see more of their material released on Soundefine.

At the moment we are also looking at starting our own Glaxclock Label to release records of Glaxclock artists. The first sampler, a 12" inch with a number of tracks by different Glaxclock artists is being prepared.

We hope to release the first record in early 2008.
Glaxclock Night #3 incl. Glaxclock Guest

Since we talked to the good people at Kultuurhuis Bosch in Arnhem earlier this summer, an agreement has been reached to host Glaxclock Night #3 at this great venue on Saturday January 26th 2008.

If this night is succesful, which we all agree it abso-freakin'-lutely will, there will be an additional three (!!!) Glaxclock Nights at Kultuurhuis Bosch in 2008.

We are very proud to present our first Glaxclock Guest all the way from Poland, Abandoned Asylum, who will perform a unique live ambient set.

After the overwhelming succes of Glaxclock Night #1 this summer in Nijmegen, we now proudly announce Glaxclock Night #2!

On Saturday November 17th at TAC in Eindhoven Glaxclock artists and DJ's will rock the house! Doors open at 22:00 and the first live set is scheduled for 23:00. Entrance is free!

Glaxclock Night #1

Nearly a year in the making, but finally it's here: The first Glaxclock Night.

On Friday July 13th at Café NDRGRND in Nijmegen, Glaxclock artists will climb the stage, spin the records, display the images and set the mood. We're not gonna make you wait! The day before the famed Nijmegen Summer Fest starts, we throw a Glaxclock Party!

Doors open at 22:00 and the first live set is scheduled for 23:00. Entrance is free!

DJ @mf will open the night up and spin inbetween live acts. There will be lots of visual stimulation by VJ Fos-For and if you're interest in buying some cool music, visit the Aesthetics mailorder sales table!

Glaxclock Artists live @ Zomersverlangen, Club Escape, Veenendaal

A number of Glaxclock artists will be performing live at the Zomersverlangen party at the Escape club in Veenendaal, Saturday July 7. 

Zomersverlangen wants to inject some much needed freshness into music, dance and art, so of course they invited Glaxclock to brighten up their summer 2007 edition!

The venue opens at 21:00 and the evening lasts until 2:00, tickets are €3,50. As they say, the line up will be a surprise, but we'll let you in on a secret: We'll be there! :)

Bob Knutton to play live at Langweiligkeitsfestival, The Hague

Bob Knutton will play his debutgig at the Langweiligkeitsfestival in The Hague at the end of July. The festival takes place on July 26, 27 & 28. Specific information will be added as soon as it becomes available.

Bob is also the sole member of CausaliDox and one of the members of IndusTree. His music is a blend of electro, popmusic and some utterly weird mutation from outer space.

Xtort to play Kultuurhuisbosch, Arnhem

Saturday May 26 Xtort will perform live at Kultuurhuisbosch in Arnhem during DasFabrique: Page # 7: Fantastique.

Xtort will rock out with their special brand of industrial electrorock. Supporting them on visuals will be VJ Fos-For. DJs: Zaxxon, Lady Clare & Dasjac

The doors open at 22:00 and close at 4:00. Tickets cost € 6,-

CausaliDox and NME33® perform at Balenfestival, Enschede, The Netherlands

CausaliDox and NME33® will perform during Soundlab #2 on Thursday May 17th.

Soundlab is a place where artists -both amateur and professional- can show off their skills controlling (live) electronic gear. In an industrial setting (a dilapidated beerfactory), a number of artists and dj's will create an atmosphere of electronic hypertension alternated with jazzy vibes.
